The Amber Income Planner on Dig for Dinos Wiki helps you decide where to spend Ambers in Dig All Dinos on Roblox Use the interactive planner on this page together with this written workflow today to prioritize tools, museum displays, and passive income dinosaurs without resorting to risky scripts.

Ambers are the premium currency in Wrekt Studios’ digging sim. You earn them passively from completed dinosaurs in your museum, from promo codes like !UPDATE2 on our Working Codes page, and occasionally from events tied to game updates. Spending them blindly slows progression — planning fixes that.

    What you are planning for

Dig All Dinos progression has three Amber sinks that compete for the same balance:

    1. Digging tools — Faster breaks and deeper volcanic cave access
    2. Cleaning and quality-of-life upgrades — Less downtime between fossils
    3. Museum expansion and display slots — More passive Amber per real-world hour

Your planner session should output a ordered shopping list for the next one to three play sessions, not a vague “save up” goal.

Step 1 — Record your current state

Open Dig All Dinos and write down these numbers on paper or in a notes app:

    FieldYour value
    Current Amber balance
    Amber per minute (museum screen)
    Equipped dig tool tier
    Deepest unlocked area
Museum display slots used / total
Top 3 dinosaurs by Amber yield

If you do not know Amber per minute, stand in your museum HUD for sixty seconds and note the gain. Cross-check species value on our Dinosaur Tier List for long-term targets.

Step 2 — List incoming Amber

    Add confirmed income only:

    • Passive museum rate × planned playtime today
    • Unredeemed codes from Codes (include !UPDATE2 if you have group membership)
    • Any pending quest or milestone rewards you will finish this session

Do not count hypothetical script farms or trade scams. This planner assumes legitimate play aligned with our Getting Started guide.

Step 3 — Rank your upgrade candidates

Write every purchase you are considering. Example categories:

    • Next dig tool upgrade cost
    • Volcanic cave access requirement if gated by tool tier
    • Museum slot expansion
    • Cleaning speed upgrade
    • Instant Clean game pass (599 R$) — note in Robux, not Ambers, but include as a time-saving comparator

Assign each item a priority tag:

    • P0 — Progression blockers — Cannot dig deeper or display higher-tier dinosaurs without these
    • P1 — Income multipliers — Museum slots or species upgrades that raise Amber per minute
    • P2 — Comfort — Quality-of-life that saves clicks but does not unlock new content

When two items share a tag, pick the one with lower cost first unless the tier list shows a dinosaur leap that pays for itself within one session.

    Step 4 — Run the break-even check

For each P1 museum or dinosaur investment, estimate:

Break-even time = Upgrade cost ÷ (New Amber per minute − Old Amber per minute)

If the break-even exceeds your typical weekly playtime, defer the purchase. Early game players usually benefit more from tool tiers that unlock new fossil layers, then shift toward display optimization mid-game. See Early Game Progression for sample milestones.

Step 5 — Build this session’s buy order

Combine Steps 2 and 3 into a single list:

    1. Spend on P0 items until cleared
    2. Redeem any codes before large purchases so balance math stays accurate
    3. Buy highest ROI P1 item you can afford entirely — partial savings often get wasted on impulse tools
    4. Keep a 10% Amber buffer for shop events announced on Updates

Example output: “Session goal — upgrade pickaxe tier 3, add two museum slots, display rare cave raptor from tier list row A.”

Step 6 — Review after each major update

Wrekt Studios rebalance costs during patches such as the FIX Update (Feb 2026). After every update:

    • Re-read patch notes on our Updates hub
    • Re-measure Amber per minute
    • Re-run break-even on deferred P1 items

Interactive UI coming later will automate these tables. Until then, repeating this checklist weekly beats guessing.

    Planner templates by account stage

    First hour (new player)

Focus: redeem code, first tool upgrade, first museum display. Follow How to Get Ambers alongside this planner.

    Mid-game (volcanic caves unlocked)

Focus: species from Fossil Rarity Tier List, slot expansions, cleaning efficiency.

    Late-game (optimization)

Focus: swap low-tier displays for tier list S-row dinosaurs, min-max passive income, skip scripts entirely.

    FAQ

    Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is the interactive Amber planner available?

Yes. Use the calculator on this page to estimate session Ambers and sort upgrades by priority. The written steps below explain the same planning logic in more depth.

Should I save Ambers or spend them immediately?

Spend on P0 progression blockers first, then P1 income upgrades with short break-even times. Hoarding without a plan slows volcanic cave access.

How do codes fit into Amber planning?

Redeem !UPDATE2 from our Codes page for 10 Ambers after joining Wrekt Studios, then count that balance before choosing tool or museum purchases.

What is the fastest legitimate Amber income?

Combine passive museum displays of high-tier dinosaurs, active digging in deeper layers, and promo codes. Our How to Get Ambers guide covers each method.

Does Instant Clean replace Amber planning?

No. Instant Clean saves time cleaning fossils but costs Robux. It complements Amber spending on tools and museum slots rather than replacing planning.

How often should I redo this planner?

After every major update and whenever your Amber per minute changes by more than ten percent from new displays or tool upgrades.
